Door handles and knobs give a frameless glass door something to pull. Back-to-back pull handles fit through holes in the glass with a handle on each side, and knobs are a smaller single fixing for shower doors and cabinets. Handles are sized by the distance between their fixings, the centre-to-centre measurement, which sets where the holes go.

The holes are drilled before the glass is toughened, so the handle is chosen when the glass is ordered, and the finish should match the hinges on the same door.
